5 Things You Need to Know About the Z-Flash Switch Module

In 2018, we launched the Z-Flash plug-n-play flasher for Ford and Chrysler vehicles. Our goal was to provide first responders with a powerful warning solution that was easy to install and even easier to use. Today, we get tons of comments and videos from users all over the world who love their Z-Flash and enjoy showing it off. But we’ve also received feedback from users regarding features and improvements they’d like to see us add in the future. So after a year of hard work, our highly-anticipated upgrade is finally here: the Z-Flash Switch Module. It’s full of awesome new features you’re sure to love—check em’ out below!

Switch and Hardwire Options

Two of the most significant upgrades to the new Z-Flash module are the switch and hardwiring capabilities. The switch option makes the Z-Flash even easier to use—it features an on/off and pattern-changing button, making activation a breeze. On the other hand, the hardwire option is perfect for users who would like to wire their Z-Flash into an external controller or switch box.

Current Z-Flash owners: customers with compatible modules can purchase a Switch and Hardwire Upgrade Kit!

Updated Programming Software

Our Z-Flash software has been redesigned to make programming and customization easier than ever. It offers enhanced features and endless possibilities! With our newly-improved software, you can edit existing patterns or create your own, choose which lights you’d like to activate, set your three modes (hardwire option only), and choose different pattern speeds.

New and Customizable Patterns

The Z-Flash Switch Module is preloaded with new flash patterns that are sure to grab the attention of other drivers. You can also edit these patterns or even customize your own using our newly-updated programming software.

Ability to Change Pattern Speeds

The Z-Flash Switch Module features four pattern speeds: slow, medium, fast, and ludicrous. Slow and medium speeds are recommended for vehicles with halogen bulbs (since they require time to heat up), while fast and ludicrous speeds are recommended for vehicles with LEDs.

New Vehicles Added

The Chrysler Z-Flash Switch Module is now compatible with even more vehicle years—in fact, we’ve gone as far back as 2005! Don’t see your vehicle on our compatibility list? Our engineers continue to work as hard as ever to add more makes and models, so stay tuned!

The Z-Flash Switch Module is now available to order! Already have a Z-Flash? Don’t worry! Current owners can take advantage of these awesome new features by downloading our newly-updated software.
